Creating a Convincing Offer

Whether you’re selling services or products, there are four basic elements that need to be included in your message to entice consumers with your offer:

  1. Packaging— what makes your offer better, more unique, or more interesting than the competition? Figure this out and harness it.
  2. Savings— showcase the benefit of your price versus others and spell out the savings in easy to understand numbers.
  3. Incentives— adding on incentives can push the consumer past over the edge on their decision to buy your product or service because it creates more value to their purchase.
  4. Urgency— creating a limited time trial, which is also low risk, is another tactic to convince consumers to commit.
