Mark Schmukler, a strategic marketing consultant and owner of Doyle Consulting, and Suzanne Morris, a graphic designer and owner of Much More Creative design studio, merged their businesses in 2002 to form Sagefrog Marketing Group, LLC, knowing they could achieve much more together by leveraging one another’s distinct strengths and passions. What started as a two-person LLC is now a forty-person-strong B2B branding and marketing agency with headquarters in Doylestown, PA, and additional offices in Philadelphia (PA), Princeton (NJ), Lehigh Valley (PA), and Boston (MA), and a roster of 500 happy B2B clients under its belt.
The name “Sagefrog” was created to symbolize the combined strategic wisdom of a sage and adaptable tactics of a frog—traits that each member at Sagefrog carries into their daily work as marketers, account managers, creatives, copywriters, and programmers. Sagefrog was formed on competencies of strategy, branding, and creative and is dedicated to being a company that clients value and employees love.
Since its founding, Sagefrog has experienced consistent revenue and employee growth, averaging more than 20% per year. Most comparable marketing agencies have grown through a combination of merger and acquisition, remote, contract, and offshore resources. In contrast to this trend, Sagefrog has focused on organic growth through the tight integration of local, full-time employees in all functions.
