From Two Minds to One Mission: The Sagefrog Story

Great minds think alike, but effective business partners think different. At least this was the case when Sagefrog was formed by two entrepreneurs with different backgrounds seeking to make a difference in their clients’ lives through marketing. Mark Schmukler, a strategic marketing consultant and owner of Doyle Consulting, and Suzanne Morris, a graphic designer and owner of Much More Creative design studio, merged their businesses in 2002 to form Sagefrog Marketing Group, LLC, knowing they could combine their distinct strengths and passions to achieve so much more.

In 2006, the duo moved into their first office space, a renovated barn behind Mark’s home in New Hope, PA, but quickly outgrew the makeshift HQ from a successful startup to a full-service B2B marketing agency.

Needing a suitable space to welcome new employees and clients, they took a leap in 2012 and purchased our current headquarters at 62 East Oakland Avenue in the beautiful Doylestown, PA borough—a 3,500 sq. ft. building home to 40+ frogs.

With a growing roster of 600+ B2B clients, Sagefrog takes pride in expanding beyond its humble beginnings. Today, we’ve built a strong presence in the Northeast region, opening additional office spaces in Philadelphia, PA, Princeton, NJ, Boston, MA, and Washington, DC, creating more opportunities for in-person connections with clients and prospects. This strategic expansion is playing a pivotal role in accelerating the success of our valued clients and the accomplishments of our talented team.

Whether you’re working with us on a retained basis or for a project, your dedicated account manager will keep you up to date on all tasks through weekly status calls. For retainers, you’ll work with your account manager to plan how we’ll spend our time each month. For projects, we follow proven processes for ensuring timely final deliverables that meet expectations. No matter the agreement, we’ll work as an extension of your team, providing support however you need it.
