Guidelines for Comment Marketing

Leaving comments doesn’t always have to leave the taste of “spammer” in your customer’s mouth.  Commenting is a great way to build relationships with your clients, as well as position yourself as a thought leader in the industry. Here are some do’s and don’t of leaving comments:

DO:

  • Be genuine
  • Add personality
  • Mention/address certain people to initiate other connections

DON’T:

  • Be generic
  • Be rude
  • Comment without reading the post first
  • Include links
