Turn Your Customers into Brand Advocates

Satisfied customers are typically more than happy to vouch for your business and spread the word about good products and services.  To turn your customers into brand advocates use these tips:

  • Turn receipts into questionnaires–use your receipts as a way for your customers to provide feedback on your products
  • Be geo-social– join networks like foursquare and yelp so your customers can “check in” at your locations and provide reviews
  • Make a feedback cycle— put processes into place to contact customers immediately after a purchase for feedback
  • Get mobile— encourage and reward creativity through apps like Instagram and Facebook. Have people use your hashtag and upload pictures of themselves using your products or services.
  • Automate your sharing process— let your customers share the purchase information through Facebook and Twitter, effectively recommending it to their networks.
