Don’t Choose Just One Marketing Channel, Use them All!

Check out our more recent article – The Future of Integrated Marketing: Not Either/Or

In today’s marketing world, one of the major mistakes a company can make is focusing too much of their time, energy and budget on one marketing channel. Rather, successful marketers recognize the importance of integrated marketing programs that allow strategies and tactics to work together to convert leads and gain ROI.

As marketers we must recognize what channels are working and scale effort based on results. The critical point is to know when to switch channels or begin a new campaign. See below for some key signals that indicate an adjustment is necessary:

  • The conversation is too long/short: Conversations that are too short or too long both indicate prospects that are not moving through the process.
  • You want to confirm a prospect’s identity: When a prospect still feels too anonymous to be true, make a few calls and find other places online to look them up.
  • They’re more than just interested: There are many buying signals that indicate a prospect is ready to go to the next step.
