Sagefrog’s Wrapped: 2022

Another year at the pond—one that taught us resilience and reinforced our strength. We’ve seen job cuts across every industry, in companies big and small. Luckily for us, however, we hit record highs for staff and revenue. There’s a lot to smile about at Sagefrog.

While 2023 already looks bright, we want to hit pause and reflect on our top achievements of the year we took on one day (and one Wordle puzzle) at a time. We established lasting relationships, shared cozy recipes, and celebrated wins. Care to join us in reminiscing? We’re counting down our five favorite accomplishments of 2022.

1. Celebrated Our 20th Anniversary

Happy birthday, Sagefrog! We rang in our 20th year in business by taking our team to an MLB game right in our backyard. The Phillies hit a walk-off home run with two outs in the ninth inning, and we can’t help but think our good vibes carried the team all the way to the World Series. We also leveled up the Sagefrog swag—sweatshirts, tees, Yetis, and more. The Frogs are stylin’.

2. Achieved the “Philly Trifecta of Awards”

We set the bar quite high, bringing home three major business awards, including Philadelphia Business Journal’s (PBJ) Best Places to Work and Soaring 76 *and* Philadelphia100 Fastest-Growing Companies. With more than 600,000 small businesses in the Philly region, this achievement is nothing short of remarkable. Thank you to our team and clients for helping us reach these milestones. Let’s do it all over again in 2023!

3. Introduced New Employee Benefits

As always, we’re seeking new ways to better support our team. In 2022, we expanded our health insurance options (now covering pets, as well!) and gave everyone a WFH stipend to make their home offices a bit more enjoyable. We also introduced a few key days to the agenda. Flex Fridays allow everyone to jumpstart the weekend year round. Quarterly Department Days for team building—think kayaking, Topgolf, breweries, and more. And, Leap Ahead Day for focused time on professional development.

4. Established a RollWorks Partnership

Or a smartnership. 🤓 We partnered with RollWorks, a division of NextRoll dedicated to offering best-in-class account-based marketing (ABM) programs. ABM is critical to modern B2B marketing. Now, we can align marketing and sales efforts in perfect harmony to identify and engage with ideal clients and continuously optimize their journey. We can’t wait to see where this takes us in 2023.

5. Hosted Successful Webinars with Friends

We hosted an Account-Based Marketing 101 webinar with RollWorks and a Marketing Mix Report Panel Discussion with the Philadelphia Chapter of ANA Business Marketing. These events were fun and insightful, and we can’t wait for the next one. Speaking of… check out the recording from our most recent webinar, The Future of B2B Marketing: Emerging Tactics & Trends. We teamed up with B2B experts to discuss key topics covered in our 2023 Marketing Mix Report and provide recommendations to help businesses approach 2023 with greater confidence in their marketing.

6. Bonus!✨Achieved Record-Breaking Growth

Because of all these achievements, Sagefrog just keeps evolving and winning. In 2022, we hit record revenue and team growth (again!). We added 8 members to our Frog family. And thanks to our incredible clients and partners, we have a constant stream of work and passion to transform into marketing gold every single day.

What’s Next in 2023?

But those accomplishments aren’t enough. As incredible as 2022 was at Sagefrog, we’ll never stop leaping ahead. In 2023, we plan to take all that we learned and continue improving in everything we do for our clients and team members. We plan to break that record growth, host even more webinars, find new ways to celebrate, and keep showcasing what “the best” really looks like. We’d love to have you along for the ride.
