1. Celebrated our 15th anniversary
Sagefrog was established in 2002, which meant that in 2017 we celebrated our 15th year in business! We’ll be sticking around for many more years to come, but the year marked a great achievement in Sagefrog’s history and served as a reminder of our success both past and present and the challenges we’ve overcome along the way. 2. Achieved record revenue and served 250+ B2B clients
Sagefrog wouldn’t exist without the 250+ B2B clients we’ve served across dynamic industries such as healthcare, technology and business services. We love working with our unique clients and forming beneficial new business relationships that accelerate everyone’s success. Our clients have fueled Sagefrog’s continued growth over our 15 years in operation and with their support, this year we proudly achieved record revenue that exceeded our yearly goal.
3. Fully implemented EOS® (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
This year our entire team was introduced to the Entrepreneurial Operating System and every frog has committed to mastering all things EOS. The operating system helped us recalibrate our team and solidify our company direction and since our full rollout of EOS in May, Sagefrog has built up our operational capability, efficiency and productivity. Plus, our EOS status lets us better serve other companies – especially those that already run on the system – and leads to drastically improved marketing and sales efforts. 4. Expanded our marketing capabilities, expertise and team
Sagefrog is a full-service agency that is able to provide best-in-class services because we continually invest in each of our marketing channels. Most recently, we made a concentrated effort to grow our digital marketing capability and we achieved this in more ways than one. In 2017 we expanded our suite of digital offerings, added team members to our digital department and introduced new technology platforms. This investment paid off, doubling our digital department’s revenue for the year.
We also established our own subject matter expert (SME) network to better serve clientele that require highly technical knowledge of specialized subject areas and niche markets. This is a network of on-call experts who function as an extension of the Sagefrog team and help us provide clients with qualified insights and exceptional content.
5. Opened Lehigh Valley office and became an LVB Business of the Year finalist
Along with expanded services came expanded service areas in 2017. In October, Sagefrog announced our newest location in Center Valley, PA which allows us to take advantage of the large B2B presence in the Lehigh Valley. Because of our existing work with clients in the Lehigh Valley, Sagefrog was also nominated as a finalist for the Lehigh Valley Business Business of the Year 2017 award.
6. Completed marketing and sales certifications and scholarships
In order to grow as modern marketers and business owners, the staff at Sagefrog always dedicates time to learning new methodologies, keeping up with trends and furthering our education. 7. Earned marketing awards and accolades
This year Sagefrog was honored to celebrate our progress as a B2B marketing agency through several awards and accolades. We received the MarCom Gold Award in the B2B website category for our work developing a site that rivaled others in functionality and aesthetics. Thanks to the detailed feedback from our clients, we were also named a Top 10 Philadelphia Digital Marketing Agency by Clutch, a B2B research firm based in Washington, DC. Needless to say, it was humbling to read praise from some of our current clients and we’re excited to build upon our strong partnerships in 2018 and establish new ones.
8. Migrated our business software to the cloud
Sagefrog’s sustained business growth required a few changes in the way we managed our IT environment. That’s why we began our transition to the cloud. Utilizing Office 365 and Windows 10 in conjunction with cloud computing services, we migrated to a cloud-based software environment that has enhanced our ability to scale as we grow our business including working from our Doylestown, Princeton, Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley offices, at home and mobile.
9. Hosted our first exclusive Google and HubSpot event
Does your business use Google or HubSpot to manage your marketing? As both a Google Partner and a HubSpot Agency Partner, Sagefrog was excited to make use of our exclusive access to resources, insights and representatives to host an event for local B2B professionals at our headquarters in Doylestown. We teamed up with our partners in September for Grow Your B2B Company with Google and HubSpot, an afternoon of presentations and networking for members of the B2B community. 10. Implemented NPS and employee engagement surveys
An important part of our success is the feedback we receive from clients and employees. We’re happy to say that we’ve introduced two new ways to obtain feedback and create positive experiences for both of these groups. Our new Net Promoter Score® (NPS) survey allows us to gauge client satisfaction while our internal employee engagement survey helps us maintain a valued work environment and culture.
