By: Andrea Panno

Doylestown, PA – May 14, 2020 – Sagefrog Marketing Group (Sagefrog), a top ranked B2B marketing agency with specialties in healthcare, technology, industrial, and business services, is supporting local merchants in the Doylestown borough by providing cash advances with an initiative coined, Dollars for Doylestown.

The local marketing agency, which has two office locations in Doylestown borough, is a small business supporting other small businesses in town as the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to impact the livelihood of companies and their employees. Sagefrog has purchased $500 e-gift cards, serving as cash advances, from local eateries and merchants including Empanada Mama, Nourish, and Native Café.

“Helping businesses that Sagefrog has supported over the years’ is a small gesture that we hope will help these businesses sustain traction, and will inspire others to do the same,” said CEO and Co-founder of Sagefrog, Mark Schmukler. “This pandemic is an opportunity for people and companies to step up however they can with empathy and urgency to support their community…even small gestures in times like these make a difference.”

How Other Businesses Can Get Involved

Sagefrog has coined the initiative, Dollars for Doylestown, with hopes that the concept of local small businesses supporting each other will catch on, and as a result, the borough can sustain through the nationwide shutdown. Many Doylestown businesses are featured on, with the ability to purchase e-gift cards in denominations ranging from $50 to $500 or for a custom amount.

To raise awareness of this initiative and increase support for local businesses, supporters can use the hashtag #DollarsforDoylestown on social media and tag the businesses that they are supporting.

“We’re appreciative of Sagefrog’s support during this time,” said Jay Sullivan, owner of Native Café located at 12 S. Main Street. “As a new business especially, every bit helps. We hope this initiative will catch on and local businesses will prevail through the support of our community.”

“Community outreach and social media play a major role during times of crisis,” said Content Marketing Manager, and Acting Pandemic Communications Director at Sagefrog, Andrea Panno. “Getting creative by using available resources, like social media and e-commerce, is what times like these are all about.”
