What You Missed at Sagefrog’s 2017 B2B Marketing Event

As a B2B marketing agency situated in the bustling Greater Philadelphia area, we never miss a chance to create lasting connections with local businesses and give back to our shared marketing community. That’s why when we set out to host our next Google event at our offices in Doylestown, we decided to add HubSpot into the mix.

Our co-hosts Google and HubSpot helped us create a fun and interactive event this year and after its great success, we can’t wait until the next! If you missed it, here’s a taste of what attendees learned on Wednesday, September 20th at Sagefrog’s Grow Your B2B Company with Google & HubSpot.

Google Partners Livestream: B2B Advertising in the Digital World

Sagefrog’s Google Partner status afforded us the opportunity to offer event attendees exclusive access to a Google Partners Connect livestream on B2B marketing and some extra Google goodies. Livestream presenters Head of Industry Diarmid Thomson and Account Manager Helen Edwards from B2B at Google spoke about B2B online advertising and how Google Partners like Sagefrog can help companies in the industry leverage new tools and tactics to keep up in the digital space.

The presentation also shared best practices for setting conversion KPIs, creating successful landing pages, optimizing websites for mobile and designing and testing digital advertisements. Google even clarified the functional differences between artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and deep learning – points of interest for most industries in the marketing world today.

The hour-long livestream and Q&A covered a wide range of topics for viewers and it was not surprising to see that Google still positions itself as a proponent of integrated marketing, encouraging B2B companies to integrate multiple data collection and use methods and various marketing strategies to meet consumers on their level.

HubSpot Representative Bennett Boucher: HubSpot Platform and CRM

Bennett Boucher, inbound growth specialist and Principal Account Executive at HubSpot, traveled from Boston to lead a session on HubSpot’s marketing, sales and CRM software, as well as the basics of the inbound marketing methodology. He works with Sagefrog, a HubSpot Gold Agency Partner, to help us seamlessly deliver HubSpot services to our clients.

Bennett’s presentation served as a great refresher for those already familiar with some of HubSpot’s core capabilities and provided an informative, interactive introduction to those new to the platform. It also tied together Sagefrog and HubSpot’s services to reveal how they integrate to maximize the number of qualified leads for B2B companies and increase ROI.
